Position Summary
The Junior Account Manager plays an important role in growing and supporting Spur's global network of experience providers. This position combines business development, account management, customer support, content publishing, and operational excellence.The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, is detail-oriented, dependable with a self-directed work style, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
Provider Acquisition

Research and recruit new experience providers across North America and international markets.

Conduct outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.

Present Spur's partnership opportunities and onboard new providers.

Negotiate partnership agreements and collect required onboarding documentation.
Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of providers.

Build strong, long-term relationships with partners.

Conduct regular check-ins to improve engagement and performance.

Identify opportunities to expand provider offerings and improve the customer experience.
Experience Publishing & Merchandising

Review submitted experiences for quality, accuracy, and completeness.

Publish new experiences to the Spur marketplace.

Ensure descriptions, imagery, pricing, availability, and policies meet Spur standards.

Maintain catalog quality through ongoing audits and updates.
Customer & Provider Support

Assist customers with booking questions and reservation issues.

Coordinate directly with providers to resolve booking requests and operational challenges.

Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, cancellations, and special requests.

Deliver exceptional service while maintaining Spur's concierge-level experience.
Provider Communications

Develop and manage a recurring communication program for experience providers.

Create newsletters highlighting new features, promotions, best practices, and company updates.

Encourage provider engagement and participation in marketing opportunities.
Marketplace Growth

Identify gaps within the marketplace and recruit providers in priority categories and destinations.

Monitor provider performance metrics and recommend improvements.

Gather provider feedback to help improve Spur's platform and processes.
Operational Support

Maintain accurate CRM and provider records.

Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership teams on special projects.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field).

1–3 years of experience in customer service, account management, hospitality, tourism, sales, or business development.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable learning new technology platforms and CRMs.

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Experience- experience with any of the following is a plus:
