Panama City Tour
Explore the rich history and culture of Panama City.
Tour guests will be picked up at their hotel between 7am and 8am (depending on the location of the hotel). Then head off to the Panama Canal's Miraflores Locks Visitor Center to watch the ships transit. Enjoy the viewing platforms and four floors of exhibits full of information about the canal's history. Next, drive around the famous Cerro Ancon inside the former U.S. Canal Zone and out to the islands down the Amador Causeway for the best view of Panama's skyline!
Stop on Naos Island for lunch (not included) and end the tour at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute's Punta Culebra Nature Center (closed Mondays) for a chance to see starfish, turtles, frogs, iguanas, and sloths! Finish the day with a walking tour of Casco Antiguo, a world heritage site full of plazas, amazing architecture, and history! There is transportation back to the hotel or guests can stay in the old town for happy hour and shopping at their leisure.
