You'll start with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation before you journey to Cai Be, a picturesque river town known for its idyllic scenery. Upon arrival, you'll board a boat for a leisurely cruise down the river, where you can observe locals engaged in their daily lives. You'll see vendors selling fresh produce from their boats, traditional villages designed in classic Vietnamese style, and lush landscapes dotted with small workshops, factories, and fruit farms.
After soaking in the sights and sounds, you can enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) before heading to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Dug during the late 1940s in the jungles surrounding Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) as part of the struggles against French colonization, this remarkable subterranean network is now a significant historical site.
