THE SPUR EXPERIENCES STORY
The majority of wedding registries fall into one of three categories:
Includes household appliances,
cooking utensils, etc.
couples buying their first home together
or those who love to entertain.
Many honeymoon registries are portals
for guests to give you cash.
Flexibility! But some guests feel funny
giving cash, like they are paying
admission to your wedding.
Skip on the toasters. Go for snowmobiling, wine tasting, massage and more!

SPUR EXPERIENCES GIVES
Modern couples also value giving back.
SPUR EXPERIENCES donates 5% of their registry sales to the charity of the couple’s choice.
HOW DID SPUR EXPERIENCES START?
A group of Colorado entrepreneurs saw the need for a new kind of wedding registry
after attending numerous weddings themselves.

THE TRADITIONAL REGISTRY
One of our team members attended a wedding where the couple had chosen a traditional household goods registry. Because of her procrastination in buying a gift, the last item on the registry was a $110 set of salt and pepper shakers.
She commented,
“There has to be a better registry.”
THE ALTERNATIVE REGISTRY
A few months later, another team member gave his friends money toward “swimming with the dolphins” on their honeymoon registry.
When the couple returned, he was was excited to see pictures of their aquatic adventure, only to find out that they had decided to save the cash to help pay off the wedding.
“This left me feeling cheated.”
THE SPUR EXPERIENCES REGISTRY
We realize that our society is going through a drastic shift, where we value experiencing life instead of collecting stuff. SPUR EXPERIENCES is an experience-based wedding registry.
