Zihua’s premiere beach truly is postcard perfect. Not to mention, after spending the day parasailing, waterskiing or surfing, you can walk along the beach to one of the seafood restaurants located waterfront.
Basically, the manmade island has become a wildlife reserve. Visitors can take a water taxi out to the island from Playa Linda and while there, have the chance to engage in snorkeling, scuba, or just relax and unwind on one of the island’s three beaches.
Beginning in the 1930s, the site has unearthed some amazing finds, to include jewelry and pottery from many different periods. The ceremonial center which is at the heart of the site, was the only one on the continent constructed from bricks and clay.
