  • The Bay Islands

    Honduras is home to some of the most extraordinary and well-preserved Maya ruins. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Copán’s large ruins will take at least half a day to visit. It is known for being one of the best-preserved Maya ruins in existence and rivals other Maya ruins in its splendor. The well-loved scarlet macaw finds its home in the thick forest surrounding these ruins.
