Together with national, state, and local partners, America Walks works to: improve crosswalks and sidewalks; create connected parks, trails and greenways; collaborate with transit to increase accessible, comprehensive mobility systems; advocate for complete streets, slow speeds, and pedestrian safety; and educate policy makers of the significant economic and environmental benefits associated with creating safe, walkable places for all to be physically active.
