The Children's Grief Center of New Mexico provides free support groups for children ages 5-25 that are grieving the death of a loved one. By being in a group of kids their own age that is also grieving a death, they see that they are not alone, that what they are feeling is normal and that there is hope. Through art, games and activities, children learn to process their grief in a healthy way, they learn how to talk about their loved one, often for the first time.
