SAFE House is a domestic violence shelter in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our mission is to shelter and empower survivors of intimate partner domestic violence.
At 85 beds, SAFE House is the largest domestic violence shelter in New Mexico and the third-largest single-bed shelter in the country. We offer our residents 90 days of free shelter and services that include case management, therapy, support groups, and nutritious meals. We also operate two rapid-rehousing programs, RISE and BEST, which provide 24 months of rental cost assistance to participating residents after they leave our shelter and begin life anew.
