Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado

Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to motivating and enabling people to become active stewards of Colorado's natural resources through nearly 100 hands-on volunteer projects each year.

Since 1984, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado has engaged more than 100,000 people to get involved in and become inspired to care for Colorado – a total donated labor value of $20 million. With Colorado’s unrivaled landscape, the demand for outdoor recreation is on the rise and Colorado faces increasing natural disaster threats. Everyone can play a part in caring for our state’s treasured resources – through hands-on work in habitat restoration and invasive weed control, trail construction and maintenance, gardening and reforestation, and much more.Additionally, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado offers a variety of programs for youth to get them involved in preserving the future of Colorado’s natural places. Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado also offers a do-it-yourself (DIY) volunteer program, called #YourCO, in which anyone can earn fun digital badges for skills or simple DIY acts of outdoor stewardship.
