Wildhorse Ranch Rescue has been saving animals in need since 1995, from blue blood thoroughbreds to wild stallions and retired US Forest Service Horses and Mules.

Wildhorse Ranch Rescue has been rescuing animals in need since 1995. Our main focus is the rescue of all types of equines, regardless of breed, background or their ability to carry a rider. We have rehabilitated horses and mules from the Havasupai Falls, Grand Canyon area, as well as wild mustangs, orphaned foals, off-track Thoroughbreds, Spanish Arabians, and many other breeds and disciplines. We also provide a safe place for the United States Forest Service retired equines. The retired USFS equines do not come with a Federal pension. In fact, the US Government does not provide any type of retirement fund for them at all. Their only hope upon retiring, is to get to a place like Wildhorse Ranch Rescue and live out their golden years. Approximately 100,000 US Horses are unwanted annually and their fate is grim if they cannot get to a rescue like ours.
