How do I modify email settings with Spur?

Couples can log in to their dashboard at Spur Login.  Then go to "Settings" and "General".  From here, you can add your fiance's email address.  Also, you can uncheck the box to receive emails from Spur.  Lastly, you can fully deactivate your account by clicking "deactivate account" on the left bar.

How Do I Use Spur Ticketing?

Spur Ticketing is similar to other ticket marketplaces (such a StubHub and SeatGeek).  Tickets may be listed above or below face value.  Couples can register for ticketed events for concerts, sports, and more. When this gift is received, the money goes into your Spur ewallet.  When you are ready to select seats to a specific event, simply log into your Spur account and choose any game and any seats.  The money in your ewallet will be applied to this purchase.  If the total is more than your ewallet balance, you can pay the difference.  The tickets are then transferred based on the venue's system.  This can be emailed tickets, Ticketmaster app, etc.

Does Spur Experiences charge a percentage to the couple?

Spur Experiences does not charge any percentage or fee to the couples. Experience partners are required to list their experience at or below retail value, and they pay Spur Experiences a sales commission.

Do experiences expire?

Experience vouchers never expire. However, some experience providers may change their offering over time. If the experience is no longer offered, the full amount of the voucher will be credited to the user’s e-wallet.

Can I return or exchange an experience?

Couples may not receive cash refunds, but they may exchange the gift for full credit towards other active Spur Experiences experiences. Spur Experiences experiences never expire. To exchange, log into your Spur Experiences account and find the experience either on "our registry" or "gift tracker". You'll see an option to exchange. After confirming the exchange, the value of your voucher will be placed in your ewallet. You can use those funds toward any other Spur Experiences experience.

How do I complete "partial purchases" on my Spur Experiences account?

If couples receive some partial purchases towards an experience, but not the full amount, they have two options:
1) Exchange the partial funds for credit in your e-wallet.  This can then be used towards any other experience.
2) Complete the purchase by paying the difference with e-wallet funds or by credit card.  

Simply log in to Spur, go to your gift tracker, and then click into the experience.  You will see two options: exchange or the complete the purchase.

What if my voucher is date-specific?

Spur Experiences offers certain vouchers that are date-specific, including vouchers for ticketed events. In these cases, the selected date(s) will be listed on the voucher, and you can only redeem the voucher on this date. The owner is not allowed to return, reschedule or exchange vouchers for date-specific activities. If the date-specific event is rescheduled by the experience provider, the owner will have the option of keeping the voucher for the rescheduled date, or exchanging for a credit towards other active Spur Experiences experiences. If the event is cancelled, the owner will automatically receive a credit towards other active Spur Experiences experiences.

Is Spur Experiences available for couples across the country?

Spur Experiences was launched in the beautiful state of Colorado in 2014. Since then, we have expanded nationally and internationally.

Are there any restrictions on redeeming the experiences?

Please see the terms and conditions and view the details listed within the experience on your online Spur Experiences Gift Tracker. Experience providers list restrictions and requirements within the details of their experience offer.

How do we redeem the experiences?

To redeem, log in to your Spur account and click into the experience.  Spur has a few options for which experience partners set up their bookings:

1) Instant book - On these experiences, Spur connects directly to our partners' real-time calendars to show you live availability.  Simply choose a day/time and click to book.  These are marked as instant book.  

2) Request to book - Other providers list their general availability and couples send a booking request through Spur.  The experience partners will respond through Spur messaging.

3) Walk-up - A small number of experience partners simply have couples bring their voucher to the experience location.

How do I deactivate my Couple's Account?

To deactivate your registry, log in to Spur and go to Settings on the top menu bar.  After clicking Settings, you'll see the option for Deactivate Account on the left menu.  Click that option, and then click the button to deactivate.  Please note that it can take search engines, such as Google, a few days to recognize that the web page for your registry no longer exists.  

If you would like all of your historical data deleted, start by deactivating your account as mentioned above, and then email couples@spurexperiences.com requesting to delete all of your data.

I received a Spur gift from my registry on The Knot, Joy, or Bed Bath & Beyond registry. Now what?

Spur is fully integrated with several retailers, including The Knot, Joy, and Bed Bath & Beyond.  If you received an experience gift from one of these registries, we automatically create your Spur account and attach your vouchers to that account.  You simply need to go to this link and request a new password.  Please enter the same email address that you used with BB&B.  We will email you a link to set up a password.  Once you log in, simply go to Gift Tracker to schedule your experience.

How do we request extra registry announcement cards?

Spur mails a set of 100 announcement cards to couples who register on our site with a future wedding date.  If you do not receive these cards or would like extras, please email couples@spurexperiences.com and we will send extras free of charge.

I received a gift from my Bed Bath & Beyond registry. How come Spur doesn't recognize my email?

Spur commonly sees two issues related to couples who receive a gift from their Bed Bath & Beyond registry but can't login to Spur:

1) Group Gifting - if you received a gift from BB&B that was group gifted (purchased by multiple people), BB&B requires you to login to your BB&B registry to complete the order with your My Funds credits.  Once you complete this step, the order will be sent to Spur and we can set up your account.  

2) Recent Purchase - it can take 1-2 hours for BB&B to submit your order to Spur.  Please allow a couple of hours after your order for Spur to create your account.
