The city of Cafayate is called the land of the sun and wine. Cafayate is in the Calchaquí Valley, home to one of the most impressive wine routes in Northern Argentina. You'll depart from the city of Salta, touring the center and south of the Lerma Valley, then enter the Quebrada de las Conchas Nature Reserve. You'll go through a narrow valley surrounded by colorful hills dominated by orange and red hues, where you will find geoforms carved by Mother Nature such as La Garganta del Diablo, El Amphitheater, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, La Yesera, and El Sapo!
In Cafayate, you will have the chance to visit a winery and enjoy tastings of the best wines in the area. Although the region is known for Torrontés, this place has countless acres devoted to red grapes such as Malbec, Tannat, or Cabernet Sauvignon.
