Belize is a country at the northeast side of Central America on the Caribbean Sea. The small size of the country allows you to Travel from the coast across the country to the eastern border (Guatemala) in a mere two hours by local bus – even faster by private car. The highlights of Belize are the tiny islands off the coast, snorkeling/diving, and the cenotes in (or rather under) the jungle. Spur Experiences’s Belize experience is a canoe trip through the jungle that includes transportation. With the trip ending in San Ignacio you might want to negotiate a few hours to tour the fun town with a great culture and delicious dining scene.

What an amazing tour. We saw whales, dolphins and porpoises. The crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. We could really tell they are very respectful towards the animals, we were able to see two humpbacks for nearly half an hour, everybody was silent, the engine was off and the crew was also in awe. Only when the whales left, the engine was back on and we also started moving again. We really felt like we had all the time in the world and we didn't disturb the animals.
