Deluxe EcoZip and Wine Tour from Auckland
Your Waiheke Deluxe experience starts as soon as you board your Fullers ferry for a scenic cruise across the sparkling Hauraki Gulf to Waiheke Island. On arrival, friends from ECOZIP will be waiting for you on the quayside before they transfer you to EcoZip HQ, perched high on a hillside overlooking the island's myriad coves, pretty bays and vineyards. Waiheke is famous for its food, wine, beaches and stunning views. After an exciting morning ziplining, you will be dropped off at award-winning beachside restaurant Three Seven Two for lunch. Duration: 7 hours
From there, you will take you for a scenic exploration of Waiheke, introducing you to some of the island's most famous, and most charming, vineyards. First up is the beautiful award-winning Stonyridge Vineyard, which enjoys global acclaim for its spectacular Bordeaux-style wines, and their signature Larose can command a price of thousands of dollars per bottle. From the sensational vibe at Stonyridge Vineyard, its off to do tastings at Mudbrick Vineyard, one of the island's best-known wineries with a Provence-style restaurant made of mudbrick. The vineyard enjoys fantastic 360-degree views across the Waitemata Harbour to Auckland City. From Mudbrick, you will go to the ferry terminal for your journey back to Auckland on the 4.00 pm ferry. Alternatively, you can hop out in Oneroa village to linger on the island, perhaps enjoying an early dinner or drinks.
From Auckland, arrive by ferry to Waiheke then fly through the air on giant flying-fox ziplines followed by lunch and stops at famous Waiheke wineries.
