Yosemite High Country and Mariposa Grove Small Group Tour
Head up to the high country and see Giant Sequoias on this action-packed day! This tour includes short hikes to Taft Point and the Fissures, and Sentinel Dome – two hikes that will surely test your nerve as you step over the fissures (massive cracks in the granite under your feet) walk right up to the edge of the vertical cliff face, and scramble up a massive dome. Groups are capped at 8 hikers.
Not feeling like testing your fear of heights? No sweat, you can hang back and take in the views far from the edge! Next, you’ll pay a visit to Glacier Point to take in even more amazing vistas from a short walk and trip to the visitor center. You’ll either end or begin the day with a short hike in Mariposa Grove to see some of the largest living organisms on the planet.
You’ll be covering about 6 miles in total throughout the day on mild to moderate trails and will be taking in a huge diversity of landscapes – many of which include 360 views of the park from above.
