Orange County has a Mediterranean climate, but the weather varies quite a bit throughout the county. The coastal area have cooler summers. Summer is pretty awful time to visit the theme parks because of the crowds.
September is a fantastic time to visit the beaches and the theme parks. It is the warmest month of the year but school is back in session so the crowds thin out.
