Why visit North Carolina’s largest city? Charlotte offers a ton of adventure and a terrific urban vibe.     Charlotte is no slouch when it comes to the city’s culinary scene. In fact, Food & Wine magazine described the region as an upstart when it comes to the growing restaurant life here. Among the many featured foods in Charlotte are upscale American, BBQ and southern comfort. You can though pretty much find just about any cuisine you choose in Charlotte.

  • Spring in Charlotte brings milder temperatures, with highs in the 60s and 70s Fahrenheit. The city starts to bloom with colorful flowers and blossoming trees, making it a great time to visit the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and enjoy outdoor activities at Freedom Park. Spring is also a popular time for attending events like the Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend and the Carolina Renaissance Festival.

  • Charlotte's summer is warm and humid, with temperatures in the 80s to 90s Fahrenheit. It's a popular season for tourism, attracting visitors with its vibrant culture and lively events. Summer offers opportunities to attend outdoor concerts at PNC Music Pavilion, explore the U.S. National Whitewater Center, and enjoy festivals like the Charlotte Pride Festival.

  • Fall in Charlotte is pleasant, with temperatures cooling down to the 60s and 70s Fahrenheit. The foliage in the city's parks and surrounding areas turns into warm autumn colors, creating a picturesque setting. Fall is an excellent time for visiting nearby wineries in the Yadkin Valley, attending the Festival in the Park at Freedom Park, and exploring the Carolina Thread Trail.
