Bellevue is located across Lake Washington from Seattle. Many people view Bellevue as a suburb of Seattle, but it is much more than that. While the entertainment opportunities don’t compare to what is available in Seattle, Bellevue is a booming area and a very livable city. Expedia and T-Mobile call Bellevue home.

  • Culture

Bellevue has some fantastic attractions for arts and culture. Some of the most notable include the Bellevue Botanic Gardens, Bellevue Arts Museum, and the KidsQuest Children’s Museum. Bellevue also hosts several major cultural events, including the Bellevue Arts and Crafts Fair and the Bellevue Sculpture Exhibition.

  • Parks

Bellevue city leadership has ensured that the fast development doesn’t crowd out the park space. Downtown Park is one of the most popular choices. It is across from the shopping center Bellevue Square, and it is just a great urban park. Some other great destinations are Mercer Slough Nature Park and Meydenbauer Beach Park.

  • Lake Washington

Bellevue is on the eastside of Lake Washington and the city offers plenty of sites and activities to enjoy the lake. Bellevue has several beach parks that are right on the lake. Visitors come to play on the lake and jog or bike the trails.

THE SEASONS
  • Bellevue is across the lake from Seattle, and the weather is pretty much identical. The winter months are the wet ones. Winters are generally cold and rainy, and not a great time to visit.

  • Spring is mild with less rain than the winter. Late spring can be a good time to visit as May has daily high temps in the mid-60s.

  • Summer is prime time to visit. The weather is relatively dry and temps are comfortable with daily highs in the 70s.

  • Fall can be a good time to visit as the weather is still pleasant, but room rates drop due to fewer tourists. Early fall is still dry, with September daily highs hitting just shy of 70 degrees.
