Peninsula Valdes with Whale Watching in Port Piramides
Discover the Peninsula Valdés, where unique landscapes and unforgettable whale watching meet diverse wildlife encounters!
After an hour of travel, arrive at the charming ecological village of Puerto Pirámides and set off on an unforgettable whale-watching adventure! Lunch will be served in either Puerto Pirámides or Caleta Valdés. As you travel through the southern part of the peninsula, you'll pass vast grasslands and rolling hills, crossing the expansive Salinas Grande and Salinas Chica along the way.
Continue towards Punta Cantor to admire the Atlantic coast and the fascinating geological formation known as Caleta Valdés. These beaches are usually inhabited depending on the time of year by southern seals, the largest seals on the plant! From there, begin the return making a stop at the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, a compendium of the natural wealth of the peninsula. During the excursion you'll have the chance to observe terrestrial wildlife, such as guanacos, choiques, foxes, maras, armadillos, and skunks.
