Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI)

OMSI is a tribute to experiments, free thought, and action.  This month (June 2017) they’re opening a new exhibit that you won’t want to miss: Pompeii.  They describe it like this: “Travel back in time to 79 A.D. and the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, a day that forever preserved Pompeii's people and treasures.”  They’ll have a 4D movie, artifacts, and the wonderment of what the victims of the massive volcanic eruption did in their final moments.  OMSI look familiar to Spur Experiences readers?  That’s because we featured one of their awesome monthly events in our 5 Brand New Experiences in Oregon blog post.
