5 Creative Ways to Welcome Wedding Guests with Booze

We’ve all been to receptions where we are waiting for a while before getting a drink. Like most things in life, wedding ceremonies are better with booze.  Here are 5 creative ways to welcome wedding guests with booze.

For destination weddings, get the party started with a shot of tequila.

In this case, the couple actually included the seating assignments with the shots.  This makes for a better dance party and great photo ops.

Whiskey and cigar happy hour before the reception

Champagne and wine aren’t for everyone.  Consider setting up a stand with whiskey and cigars to create the happiest of hours for your guests.

Drinks before the ceremony

Again, this definitely isn’t for everyone… especially those getting married in a traditional church.  However, if you are having a less traditional wedding, consider setting up a beer and wine bar at the entrance of the ceremony.  Shut it down ten minutes before the wedding starts.

Take care of your guests with hangover relief

The most important aspect, of course, is for you and your guests to enjoy the party responsibly.  Encourage guests to either stay in a hotel or arrange for a safe ride home.  Consider including instructions on getting a safe ride (hopefully transportation is already planned for the bride).
