Include your Dog in your Wedding

Dogs are (wo)man's best friends, but are often ignored on one of the biggest occasions of our lives. Here are ways to include your dog in your wedding.

The Proposal

How could he or she say "no" to your pup wearing a "will you marry my dad" sign?  Increase your odds of not getting rejected by including your furry wing-man.

The Save The Date Announcements

Include the entire family - you, your fiance and your dog(s) to announce the wedding date.  Makes for some great photos and catches the attention of some of your dog-loving friends.  You can take a similar approach to your engagement photos.

The Ring Bearer

Kids are cute, but what if you had kids and dogs combining their cuteness as your ring bearers?  We've heard of a few cases where couples just tried letting their dogs go solo and it didn't work out too well.  We strongly suggest that this one works best if they are the co-ring-bearers.

The Wedding Party

Save the drama of choosing among your friends, and go to your real numero uno for your best man or maid of honor.  Warning: you could still have drama if you multiple dogs to choose between.

The Procession

Walk off into happiness and start your new life together with your furry family member.  You'll definitely want to make sure you know what you're doing with the dog during the reception.
These are just a handful (pawful?) of ideas on how to include your dog in your wedding. What did we miss? Let us know some of the ways you plan on including your fur-babies.
