Heading south, you journey through the breathtaking Waikato countryside, known for its vast farming landscapes, mighty rivers, and picturesque scenery—perfect for photo opportunities. We'll pause for a coffee break at a special location along the way.
As you continue towards Rotorua, you'll pass through Tirau, famously dubbed the 'Corrugated Iron Capital of the World' for its unique sculptures and buildings, where your guide will ensure you don't miss any highlights. Upon reaching Rotorua, you'll take a guided driving tour to help you get your bearings and see the city's most famous sites, including Lake Rotorua, Rotorua Museum, Government Gardens, and more.
