Held in a professional kitchen in the seaside Gros neighborhood, this immersive experience is led by an expert chef who will guide you through the preparation of five traditional recipes, including a Gilda pintxo, Spanish potato omelet, cod in pil pil sauce, red piquillo peppers, and the famous Basque burnt cheesecake. Along the way, you’ll learn practical tips and techniques that can easily be recreated in your own kitchen.
As you cook, the chef will share stories about Basque culinary traditions and the cultural significance of each dish, giving you a deeper appreciation of the region’s world-renowned gastronomy. After preparing the meal, sit down with your fellow participants to enjoy the dishes you’ve created, paired with Basque cider, red and white wines, and ice apple cider.
